Whenever I see things like 'M50' and 'M60' and 'M70' in some of these threads my mind immediately goes to BMW engines and not cars. Am I the only one? I may be dating myself here...

It’s just branding to bring in new lemmings. I feel it dilutes the M nomenclature but that’s just my opinion. We are both dating ourselves:lol:

I read somewhere that the motors are capable of 1300hp but bmw will max this M3 be out at around 700hp.

They’ll probably unlock the 1000hp for the m3 EV CSL 😂😂😂

I wouldn’t worry. With Tourings comprising 40% M3 sales in some geographies like Australia, the US will definitely get the M3 touring (unless the M5 Touring tanks over there).

With a few mods they look as good/better than anything new you can buy today. Super reliable, still plenty quick, best cars you can buy for the money right now, I could go on and on. I've racked my brain the past couple of years trying to think of something else to buy, but just always come back to the F8x cars in the end. I will keep an open mind about this new series coming out, however. So far, I don't hate the exterior from what I'm seeing. The interior however, not sure I'll ever be able to own a car with that awful iPad. Oh well, if no better cars come out in the coming years it will just mean I can retire a few years earlier.
