Transformed the car with the DME remap and M5 steering gearbox (bolts onto the 540 but has a tighter turn ratio). Bought used instead of new as I didn't want an E60. This car continued to give me trouble throughout the 4 year ownership - a stark difference from the 530i it replaced. Moved to an F10 550 after this one.
