I am very interested in what they do with a full EV M car. I saw the new class iX3 in Munich at BMW Welt and was very impressed with it. As a current BMW owner with a 2018 X3 M40i, and E89 M-sport manual two cars I love. I like this new direction. I know on this forum it won't be the most popular statement but full EV are the only cars I currently will consider. Porsche Taycan and new EV Cayenne are also on my short list.

Looking forward to this thing. I'm sure it's going to be a cracker of a vehicle just going by what reviewers have said about the new iX3.

I think this thing will be a beast. 0-60 sub 2.5s? Maybe. The old M3 will look like a different class of car.

I have personally been sceptical of EVs, even bought a 2025 m340i earlier this year because I didn’t think EVs were there yet.

But it feels like the time for EVs has come now. The new iX3 seems to have put the bar pretty high, and BMW will just keep raising it from there.

Porsches main mistake was pricing the car too high without being overwhelmingly better than the competition.

This car is shaping up to be one of the most capable EVs at any price. Big question mark is what that price point will actually be

Depends on the market though. I believe it will sell well in europe, but not so much in the states. And once the G84 ICE is out, sales will shift over to that.

I am 100% down with this!
Can’t wait to see one up close and personal.
I wouldn’t get rid of my M2, but would put this in the stable for sure.

I can’t wait for this! And I’m a 25+ year owner of ICE M3’s and X3M (same engine). I’d happily ditch ICE for a monster EV M3, or at least add it to the stable!

I only wish production date wasn’t so far away! I’m not getting any younger lol!
