Are we 100% certain about the March 18 debut date? I’m very excited to see the i3 design language that will be carried over to the G50, including the interior design.

If it has the same battery size as the iX3 50, which I assume it will, it'll be interesting to see how much much difference the body shape makes to the range.

It’s about time. I’m sick of all the rendering pictures. I’ve never been fond of tablets, but maybe it wil be better in person. Hopefully, it will be on the car show circuit soon.

I doubt the interior will deviate all that far off from the iX3. Spy photos of the M5 LCI interior already point to the fact that the interiors will be taking the same styling as the iX3 as they move to the NK style.

I’m facing ambivalence about this debut. I think the interior will likely be as underwhelming as that iX3 was. The exterior styling is all I’m really invested in anymore with this Neue Klasse transition. The iX3 just doesn’t look nice, but maybe whatever variations exist to fit the sedan silhouette might make the NK exterior more palatable.

I didnt think about. Could be a wider looking car which it might look more aggressive. We?ll see

No standalone kidney grille is going to be a major bummer. No more BMW-specific identifiers other than the badge on the hood.

Those details and design cues change over time, come and go and come back again. I’m sure there’s some new ones and a few throwbacks in there too.

Looking forward to leaks any day now

Whoa! Nearly 500Lb-Ft of torque (@ 475Lb-Ft). I think it will be faster the i4 40i,...but not as fast as the I4 M50 or i4 M60.

The i3 M50,..or i3 M60 will be screamers! That said, I'm thinking the iM3 version will either be BMW's fastest car to 60mph/100kph (62mph),...or 2nd fastest behind the current F90/G90 M5s.

Presuming it uses the same motors as the iX3 Xdrive M50, and presuming that the sedan will be a 5% less heavy, it will do 0-62 in 4.6s (compared to 4.9s for the iX3). In most tests the iX3 beats the claims of BMW, so expect 4.4s. This is indeed not i4M50/60 territory but for me would be plenty fast already!

Did not expect them to create an artificial kidney in the middle. It looks better than I expected.
