We need blues!
So of the 4 colours teased, 2 are white and one is black. Blimey. What a revelation. Would never have guessed to have white and black options available. No, no, don’t tell me… another one will be grey!?

Doesn’t really matter as over 70% of the EV M3 sales will be for California. 20% combined for Chicago and New York metro area. Less than 10% for the remaining US. Must be colors that California buyers frequently buy. Now the ICE varrient will be for reminder of the country and which will receive shades to blues.
I'd be surprised if two models that were being being marketed as almost identical counterparts of one another didn't get identical color lists.

You forgot about the Pacific Northwest. I expect this to sell well here as a replacement for all the aging Tesla Model S’s. There are at least 5 just in my neighborhood alone. I see several on the road every day along with many other BEVs. My i5 M60 is blue and I will definitely consider the electric M3 when it’s available here.
Can you imagine if the M3 was only available in 4 colors (well one color really)
15 individual colors will be ordered separately. This list seems to have no meaning to be honest
white and black? shocking lol

The available colors are precisely calculated by BMW for the typical EV and Tesla owner they’re trying to lurer over.

A shade of blue named after a famous race track? That’s offensive.

Sorry, my bad, so to clarify the green new deal states which is the left coast, MN, IL, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and VT. Did I omit any? Surprised that green is not a rumor color?

BTW my brother’s Tesla’s lease was up recently and he bailed on EV’s, went back to a BMW 5 series ICE last week. 👏

The EV M3 is any other polarizing subject mater such as the large front grill of the current G8x generation. 🤷🏻‍♂️
I do miss my ICE Jaguar, but I vastly preferred the electric 5 series over the hybrid. I’ll probably pick up a used F-Type, but I will always have electric for my daily driver.
There will be plenty of BMW Individual colors to choose from.

… Greens, especially IOMG.
The EV M3 is the real M car I’d consider. I can’t wait to test drive one :)
White and black. Whoopee….

Not trying to be a dick, but are you really shocked by this? Look around you at the traffic cars today. They are all black, white, or grey. Car manufacturers don't take risks anymore when it comes to colors. I'm not sure why or how this shift changed in the industry, but it is so prevalent today. Hence, these launch colors. Don't act shocked lol

Am I the only one who wishes they just called it “Red Bull Ring Red”

I sense a conspiracy growing. First they took our colors, then forced hybrids on is, now 24/7 surveillance and they made us get Amazon prime.

Now there making me get an EV M3 with an individual color (LBB!).

Of course I’m not shocked. I just find it funny this is considered a ‘reveal’. It’s marketing at it’s finest - generating internet news and hype around stuff we already know. Next thing they’ll be announcing it comes with 4 wheels and is capable of going in reverse.:D

This wasn't revealed or announced by BMW, this was leaked by an insider. If you're not interested, just move along, but this story has nothing to do with the BMW PR department.
